The Codes Enforcement office issues all Building Permits and is responsible for enforcing codes and ordinances in the city. The Codes Enforcement Officer also ensures the sound construction of new buildings and safe maintenance of existing structures including building, housing, mechanical, plumbing and zoning ordinances and property maintenance.
